FCPS
The FCPS is the exam that is set by the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. This is important for doctors to ascertain for career progression in their field of specialty. It takes place twice a year in the months of January and July. In general subjects (Medicine, Surgery and Gynae and Obstatrics) it comprises 2 parts- part I or preliminary and part II or final part. The preliminary exam is composed of 3 paper MCQ tests. The final part has got written, oral, practical, OSCE etc. The specialized subjects has 3 parts.
